Vintage oval plateau in moulded resin and hammered metal, signed Datty.

Antique oval tray with painted decoration of hazel branches (red leaves and hazelnuts) on a nuanced ivory background, signed "Datty" at the bottom right. The tray is made of moulded resin imitating glass. The frame is made of hammered metal in a wrought iron style, with two ornate handles on each side. The tray has been thoroughly cleaned; the metal frame has been cleared of some rust marks while retaining its original patina, and a layer of clear matte anti-rust varnish has been applied to protect it over time. Estimated period: around 1950-1960. Overall good condition, with some signs of use that do not affect its aesthetic. Dimensions with handles: 57.5 X 6 X 35.5 cm / Tray dimensions: 51 X 35.5 X 1.8 cm.
