Magnificent pair of altar candlesticks in solid brass (or patinated bronze), in the neo-Gothic style (late 19th century). These pieces stand out for their elegance and ornamental richness, typical of the architectural movement of the time. Highlights and technical details: Complete model: Each piece retains its original bobeche (wax catch cup), an element often missing on these old models. Decoration: The top and base are adorned with openwork cutouts in the shape of clovers, emblematic of the Gothic style. Shaft: Baluster stem worked with decorative rings (knots) offering a very beautiful line. Base: Circular base resting on three tripod feet with claws, ensuring excellent stability. Use: Equipped with their original central spike to hold large candles. They are also perfect for being electrified and transformed into high-end salon lamps. Condition: In beautiful condition with authentic old patina. No missing parts or major deformations to report.
