Alba floor lamp by Sergio Brazzoli & Ermanno Lampa for Harvey Guzzini, 1970s

Beautiful early Alba floor lamp model HG 4510 designed by Sergio Brazzoli & Ermanno Lampa for Harvey Guzzini in 1973. 'Alba' means (translated from Italian) 'sunrise'. This is an early version from 1973, the year that the lamp was designed, still with the Harvey Guzzini logo. In 1974 the name changed from Guzzini to iGuzzini. A beautiful futuristic design from the seventies. This rare sculptural floor lamp is made of white moulded plastic with a heavy black cast iron base at the bottom. The condition is still very good, with no cracks or breaks in the plastic.
