Black Thonet FMG bistro chair in curved wood and cannage

Bistro chair signed (label) of the thonet factory of radomsko in poland. Made in the 1950s by the fmg - short for "fabryka mebli gitych" (curved wooden furniture factory), a former thonet factory in radomsko, poland, created in 1881 and nationalized after the second world war. The label "fmg" on the label of the chair was only used during the period from 1945 to 1959 (later the "fameg"). It has a fmg label numbered: 367431. Beech wood painted black. In its juice, some cracks and lack of paint, traces of use (visible in photos). Dimensions: height 88cm, width 41cm, depth 52cm, seated height 47cm, seated depth 41cm.
