Baumann round table with extensions from the 60s/70s

Magnificent table circa 1970 by swiss designer emile baumann. Round table with central leg and 2 extensions. This model has the specificity, which makes it rare, of having the central foot which is divided into 2 for the installation of extensions. Its top is in elm with a magnificent belt in different types of mahogany, just like its base. Note the work of the very chic and very original cut-out top. The table extension system is made of aluminum and allows you to go from a round table 110 cm in diameter (4 people) to an oval table 150 cm long with 1 extension (6 people) and finally 190 cm with the 2 extensions (8 people). Height 74.5 cm including 7 cm headband. In superb condition (we just notice a micro shine on the top, barely perceptible in the veins of the wood, see last photo), this very beautiful, ultra-quality table will undoubtedly bring a touch of exclusivity to your dining area.
