Beautiful old drawing representing a still life with a candle, a bottle, an open book, and a pair of glasses. The work is done in monochrome tones, with a lovely play of light around the flame. The whole piece exudes an intimate and poetic atmosphere. The drawing is signed at the bottom right (L. Pignal or similar, to be confirmed). Wooden frame with original mount. In very good overall condition. Some signs of age and slight visible marks (see photos).
