Round side table in antique solid wood

Round side table made of antique solid elm wood. We constructed our round table from an old wooden wheel that we repurposed as a tabletop, to which we added old elm wood legs that are over a hundred years old. We used restored solid antique elm wood. Our idea was to create a coffee table 50 cm high that replicates the construction style of yesteryear. We have made several similar pieces, although no two are exactly alike. Each table has been renovated according to its specific needs. Some old wooden planks still had layers of paint on the surface, and a stripping process was carried out to bring out the natural colour of the wood. Subsequently, the tables were treated with beeswax to cover and protect the wood's pores, allowing them to withstand the passage of time. It took several months to source the wood and create our range of antique wooden tables. Each round side table is unique, with its own imperfections and marks of time. Ref.: AM03028.
