Vintage 1960s space age plexiglass wall light

This stunning two-light mid-century modern wall light dates from the 1960s. The front panel is made of crystal clear resin textured plexiglass, held in place by four screw-mounted modernist brass posts. A wraparound piece of ridged plastic serves as a diffuser on the side that needs it. The whole thing is attached to an aluminum backplate that has a hole for wiring and screw holes for wall mounting. It can of course be mounted in both directions, horizontally or vertically. In very good vintage condition with only minor signs of age and points to note: over the years it has been used with old style bulbs which can get very hot and there is a small bulge where one bulbs started to melt and cause a slight bulge in the front panel. The bulbs I photographed it with were in it when I bought it and one of them is a higher wattage than the other, I suspect that's the bulb that caused the damage. I won't include them anyway because this type of bulb is inefficient and too delicate to survive shipping. As I mention above, it would look much better with modern energy efficient bulbs. As you can see, it is currently in working order, although it has the original wiring. Please view all photos and remember they are over 50 years old and were pre-owned and pre-life. It has two bulbs inside so it will provide a good amount of light, and as they are hidden it will be suitable for modern energy efficient bulbs. Remember when looking at the photos I have wired it and plugged it into an outlet, just to show you, the wires will not be visible when connected to wiring in a wall. It accepts two small standard e14 edison screw bulbs (non-inc).
