Lithograph Fashion Illustrated "The Groom

Lithograph signed héloïse leloir in the magazine la mode illustrée (56 rue jacob in paris). Leroy printer paris. Probably dating from 1867/1868. Lithograph depicting 2 women wearing a wedding dress and a woman dressed in a green dress. Drawing in good condition, fold in the middle (from the magazine), some traces on the right and left of the lithography (probably glue). Héloïse leloir (1819 - 1873) was a french painter and fashion illustrator during the second empire, she was married to the painter auguste leloir. She is the sister of another illustrator in vogue at the time: adèle-anaïs toudouze. The lithograph is in its original painting when it was acquired.
