Art deco cigar box with sliding lid and brass finishes

Period: ca. 1930. A beautiful rectangular box with a sliding lid and brass finish strips. The wood on the sides and top is probably mahogany. The slats are very thin and this kind of work is impressive; to have this produced today would cost a small fortune in time and know-how! The lid slides perfectly but some softness is required. The handle is in a lighter colored wood. It seems that the wood on the bottom inside is cedar wood (visual comparison with other humidors). It can contain short or long cigars depending on the direction in which you place them; of course, cigarettes like any other kind of small objects can also be stored. Condition: very good. No damage. Some wear marks corresponding to the age such as a blunt corner (see photo). Size: see photo.
