Chandelier by Michael Harjes and produced by Harjes Metalkunst 1960

1960s brutalist hanging bronze pendant candle holder designed by Michael Harjes and produced by Harjes Metalkunst in Germany. The piece is composed of 8 cast-bronze arms which hold one candle in each one. The candle holder is suspended from bronze interlocking holder which allows it to be hung from the ceiling from a hook. A stunning piece, beautifully designed and well made. The candle holder is in very good condition with a beautiful deep gold patina. The total height: 82 cm. Diameter: 47cm. Height of candle holder: 36 cm.
