Lacquer box

Very beautiful vintage/old lacquer turtle box, possibly lacquered bakelite. Quite realistic, handcrafted painting, very nice detailed work. Red interior, the shell acts as a lid. Very good general condition, no scratches or major accidents, however, the head is cracked at the central joint (cut in 2) but this does not represent a risk for the structure. The tip of the carapace behind the head is a little filed down. Approximately 20cm in length with the head, approximately 10.5cm in width at the widest, approximately 7cm in height. Very light around 300g.
