Ancient white marble bust – Young girl with a bird – 38 cm

Elegance and poetry of white marble. I present this magnificent bust of a young girl in sculpted white marble, with great finesse of execution. The sculpture captures a moment of tenderness where a young girl exchanges a glance with a small bird perched on her shoulder. Sculptural work: Remarkable details in the braided hair, the delicate features of the face, and the drapery. Materials: Bust in solid white marble on a cubic base of veined marble (type Noir Saint-Laurent or Portor). Dimensions: Total height 38 cm (Bust alone: 30 cm / Base: 8 cm). Weight: Very dense and stable piece, approximately 15 kg. Condition: Good overall condition. Note some slight patina marks on the left shoulder, witnesses to its age, which do not detract from the charm of the piece (visible in the photos). This sculpture will bring a classic and refined touch to your interior, whether placed on a sideboard or in a library.
