Duo consisting of a sugar bowl and a cream jug in porcelain from the Théodore Haviland factory, Céladon China collection, marketed by the prestigious Maison Rouard, at 34 Avenue de l'Opéra in Paris, around 1930. A delicate celadon green with a slight grey hue, paired with wide silver borders with a matte sheen. The flowing shapes, crafted handles, and silver-highlighted contours create a set of great graphic modernity, characteristic of Art Deco aesthetics. Maison Rouard, an important Parisian brand in decorative arts, collaborated with major manufacturers and designers of its time. An advertisement from 1929 specifically presents the new Céladon porcelain by Théodore Haviland distributed by Rouard. Double stamp under both pieces: Théodore Haviland – France – Céladon China and Rouard – 34 Avenue de l'Opéra, Paris. Cream jug: spout handle length 12 cm, height 10 cm, maximum diameter 8 cm. Sugar bowl: diameter from handle to handle 15 cm, height 7 cm. In beautiful vintage condition, matte silver decoration, presumably original (see photos). Celadon green, matte silver, and Art Deco lines: original and chic.
