Vintage cane sideboard, Maison Maugrion, circa 1970

Very pretty sideboard/chest of drawers at support height in veneered wood and canework opening with two doors on the front. Maison maugrion plaque on the back of the piece of furniture, founded by roger maugrion in bayeux in calvados around 1960, a great specialist in "prestige rattan" made in france, formerly distributed for "the collections" at roche-bobois. Ideal for a country house for example dimensions: h_89 cm w_124 cm d_53 cm. Some normal signs of use for this piece of furniture in rather very good vintage condition.
