Shallow dish Hamage & Moulin des Loups, blue and orange floral stencil decoration.

This shallow dish in earthenware comes from the Hamage & Moulin des Loups factories in northern France. Its rim is decorated with stencilled floral patterns: small bouquets of orange flowers surrounded by fan-shaped blue foliage, inspired by Art Deco. The cream background features a fine network of crazing, typical of old earthenware that has long been used on tables. On the reverse, the famous windmill mark in green and the mention "France" attest to its authenticity. It can be placed on the table, integrated into a collection of antique earthenware, or displayed on a stand like a lovely kitchen tableau. A small discreet chip is visible on the edge (see close-up photo), a testament to a well-lived life.
