Covered box for Burmese temple offerings, richly decorated and finely carved. Very beautiful handcrafted piece of popular religious Thai art. It certainly had to accommodate spices such as saffron. Date from the end of the 19th beginning of the 20th century. In very good shape. Some gaps on the edges of the lid.
