4 talking plates in Grigny earthenware, 19th

4 "talking" plates of the dm earthenware factory in grigny in the rhône, from the 19th century. The theme of the scenery: that of hunting, but seen from a drolatic angle... Criticism The earthenware is very fine grain, but the plate is rather thick, very pleasant to hold in hands. The décor is hand painted, in gray, which makes the whole very elegant. The words "talking" are very discreet, and located at the bottom of the central décor. The perimeter of the plate is decorated with cornucopias loaded with garland flowers, swallows, butterflies: symbols of happiness... Perhaps these plates were designed to be part of a service offered as a wedding gift... One might think so. On the back of one of the plates ("sir needs me?") a small lack of material probably due to a shock. On another ("keeping the woodcocks"), a "hair": very slight crack in the hollow part. All this can be seen in the photos.
