Rare aluminum folding chair with caned seat and back. Produced by anonima castelli, italy. With a castelli label. Circa 1970. The chair is in excellent condition consistent with age and use, the rattan is firm and intact. Note: this model was part of the famous new york exhibition, italy: the new domestic landscape, organized by emilio! In 1972. A pair of chairs belonging to the collections of the museum of modern art in new york (ref. 419.1972.1-2).
