Danish design hanging lamp by Jo Hammerborg, produced by Fog&Mørup, model Juno from 1966. (This lamp is age-appropriate for the period) Beautiful hanging lamp in copper color with an anthracite-colored belt around it. The Juno lamp is one of the most compact in Johannes Hammerborg's Saturn series - a collection of lamps where Hammerborg explored the art of creating balance and proportion in form through a construction of two concentric cylindrical bands in many different variations in height and width. A very beautiful pendant. Original orange contrast lacquer on the inside. It has no dents or warping, but it does have wear, light signs of use, and a few superficial scratches, and it should be mentioned that the bottom grille/plate is missing, so it’s being sold well below the normal price for these lamps. (It can easily be used without it, and it’s still a really cool lamp) One bulb is included in the purchase (Has a standard E26/E27 socket) Packed securely and sent with insurance.
