The vase with a handle was made in the 1960s in Germany. A spectacular, tall vase made from vintage German W. Germany-style ceramics, with a highly decorative character. The slender, monumental form is complemented by an elegant handle, giving the piece an air of the classic, sculptural vessels of the era, yet with a very modern twist. The surface is covered in an intense glaze in shades of red and orange, with a beautiful, organic texture and distinct colour transitions – the effect is deep, ‘glowing’ and incredibly photogenic. This is an object that instantly defines a space: perfect for mid-century modern, loft or retro interiors, but also as a striking accent in minimalist spaces. It looks superb both on its own (as a sculpture) and with large branches or a floral arrangement – the large opening offers plenty of styling possibilities. A unique piece of West German ceramics in a large format – bold colour, beautiful glaze and a form that makes an impression even in large spaces. Condition: preserved in its original condition; may have minor scratches and normal signs of wear. Technical data. Height: 54 cm. Width: 24 cm. Depth: 24 cm.
