Red ceramic vase, German design, 1960s, made in West Germany

The vase with a handle was made in the 1960s in Germany. A spectacular, tall vase made from vintage German W. Germany-style ceramics, with a highly decorative character. The slender, monumental form is complemented by an elegant handle, giving the piece an air of the classic, sculptural vessels of the era, yet with a very modern twist. The surface is covered in an intense glaze in shades of red and orange, with a beautiful, organic texture and distinct colour transitions – the effect is deep, ‘glowing’ and incredibly photogenic.
