After a stripping we proceeded to a detachment of the tray (ink stains), on the edges of the tray we can see small holes it is the traces of fixing chopsticks that had been laid to maintain an oiled canvas in the 19th or early 20th which allowed to protect the tray from the aggressions of time. Does patina was made with natural beeswax homemade the tray was treated anti stains beforehand, the installation of the wax c is made hot to stimulate the pigment of the wood and give it a beautiful natural blonde patina (it should however be noted the presence of scar and wear of time) well look at the photos they are part of the description. It has been treated preventively, the drawer has ink stains inside that we have not managed to make disappear this is part of its history.
