Here is a pair of pretty high stools from the 50s, declared by expertise in the taste of the mythical couple audoux and minet. The wood is nicely stained (resinous) while the seat (woven rush) is in the pure tradition of the artists, as they made it their trademark. Even the assembly with the technique of the t which allows to stabilize the structure marks its belonging to our 2 artists. As much as we find quite freely low stools of their manufacture, or even a single copy, as much a pair of high seats is a rarity. Note that they are not of the same heights, one, certainly having had its legs shortened for a mysterious reason. They are generally in good condition considering their age, in any case, functional. Dimensions: stool 1: height of one 76 cm X diameter of the seat 31 cm X thickness of the seat 7 cm. Stool 2: height of the other 83 cm X seat diameter 31 cm X seat thickness 7 cm; Total weight: 3.6 + 3.8 = 7.4 kg.
