Yolande ide (1931) Circa 1960s. This 50 cm terracotta sculpture embodies the raw essence of human vulnerability through its rough texture and unrefined form. Created in the art brut style, it highlights instinctive, unpolished creativity. The coarse surface enhances its emotional depth, while the inward posture suggests introspection and fragility. It is a striking example of pure, unfiltered expression. Biography: Yolande ide, a 93-year-old artist from de haan, belgium, is the daughter of architect léon ide.
