Art Deco Toilet Set By Val Saint Lambert - Luxval

Period: ca. 1920-1940. A magnificent seven-room toilet set, made by the famous val st lambert; this set was named valembert and is in the catalog of the luxval series. It is made of molded-pressed semi-crystal and has diamond tip patterns with details covered in yellow. The glass is heavy and the details are sharp and of good quality. The set consists of two perfume bottles of different sizes with caps, two jars of powder with lid, one with frotelle, a perfume vaporizer bottle (non-functional), a plate, and a water decanter with its corresponding glass. Both pots have an engraved mention of val st lambert belgium inside, but these are so discreet that they are difficult to capture in the photo. Val st lambert is a world-renowned belgian crystal factory known for their high quality products. The luxval series was born after the economic crash of the 1930s in order to offer a range of items more economical than their traditional cut crystal pieces; luxval items were usually made of pressed glass and semi-crystal and in the art deco style. State: Very well. The perfume atomizer does not work: it has no bulb, the inner part is corroded and the inner glass tube is broken (see photo).
