Poul Cadovius shelving system, rosewood

The two-level shelving system designed by Danish designer Poul Cadovius offers maximum flexibility. The individual modules easily attach to the wall rails by simple interlocking, allowing the furniture to be easily adapted to individual needs. Made of rosewood, the wall shelf boasts timeless elegance. Despite its delicate appearance, it supports a significant load and can accommodate books and other heavy objects without issue, thanks to the interlocking elements that distribute the weight across the entire surface. This configuration includes two bar cabinets with woven fronts, a cabinet with sliding doors, a display cabinet with sliding doors, five wide shelves, and four narrow shelves. This shelving system was designed by Danish designer Poul Cadovius and is produced by Royal System. In addition to shelving systems, Cadovius also created buffets, chairs, dining tables, desks, and coffee tables, primarily in teak and rosewood, tropical woods that were highly sought after in the 1960s.
