Beautiful sublime three seater sofa and matching lounge chairs with organic shaped frames produced by de Ster Gelderland, The Netherlands. Eccentric model! Rarely available, this set is a design-lover's dream. The one-piece frame is solid oak with a really lively grain. The broad arms sweep up spectacularly with a gorgeous, organic curve that widens out to a generous arm as smooth and tactile as a surfboard. Designed in Norway in the 1950s and first manufactured by Grimson and Slater, England. In the sixties De Ster Gelderland introduced this design in the Netherlands. This set has been fully restored in every aspect. The frames have been completely refinished and the set has new high density foam filling.
