Classic berber carpet 130 x 84 cm

This product comes from the mountains of the high atlas and is made from virgin wool alternating patterns consisting of a single knot and one or two woven lines. These unique traditional berber rugs are distinguished by their abstract reflections and the techniques are passed down from mother to daughter of the tribes a bouzid, shokmane, bougamez and bou oulli. Each rug tells the story of the woman who wove it, a symbolic language that covers everything from femininity, spirituality, rural life, motherhood, marriage and childbirth.
