Pair of FM62 Pastoe armchairs

Pair of FM62 armchairs, known as Kubus or Cube armchairs, by Radboud van Bekum for Pastoe. The frame is made of black metal and red and blue leather, in excellent condition. The frame has some signs of use, notably on the bar under the legs of one armchair, where some paint is missing. Otherwise, nothing to report. Radboud van Beekum (Rijswijk, Netherlands, 1950-2020) graduated as an architect from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam in 1977 and specialized in furniture. It was during this time that he designed the Cube chair, which was produced by Pastoe from 1981.
