Set of 6 black no. 18 chairs by Thonet, around 1900

Gebrüder thonet (vienna) designed chair no. 18 around 1875. Like chair no. 14 this was one of thonet's most popular chairs. It's still in production as chair no. 218. This set of 8 black no. 18 chairs dates from around 1900 and is in good condition, wood and rattan. All chairs have new (2023) handwoven rattan seats. Normal signs of wear and use. Beautiful patina. Marked with stamp and paper thonet label. Seat height: 47 cm.
