Rare Modernist Red Catalina and Brass Tube Table Light, Italy, 1960s

This almost unique table light features a combination of super rare red catalina and and brass elements. The origin of this light is italy although the catalina parts are a unique product of east germany. The catalina has a fantastic coloration in dark red. The large block bottom element stands on a brass metal base, the large catalina tube has a height of 18cm. At the top the light features one socket for e27 light bulb. The socket has a standard ring fixation for shades. The grey shade is not included in the offer. The catalina elements have been simichrome proofed. Minimalist and straightforward design of the 1960s, very rare and collectible. This item is a wonderful addition to every modern home. Dimensions: Catalina block. Height 7, 7cm. Depth 5, 9cm.
