Elegant French sideboard from the 1950s, published by Meubles Erlak, a Parisian manufacturer. Original label "Total Guarantee of High French Quality" inside. Blond wood facade adorned with diamond point marquetry on the four doors, highlighted with fine inlaid fillets. Rounded corner top with marquetry inlay. Golden strips between the doors. Spindle legs encircled with brass and finished with brass caps. Original brass key handles, three keys. Very well-maintained mahogany interior: in the center, two drawers with brass knobs and a shelf; on each side, a compartment with shelves. Large storage capacity. A piece of character, in the spirit of post-war French modernist furniture, that fits well in both contemporary and vintage interiors: living room, dining room, entrance, or TV unit. Dimensions: L 220 X D 55 X H 110 cm. Overall good condition. Healthy structure, functional doors and drawers, intact marquetry. Light signs of use on the top, consistent with the age of the furniture.
