Mid-century hanging lamp by Temde Leuchten, 1960s

Very attractive mid century hanging lamp from the german-swiss brand temde-leuchten. This lighting from the 1960s was made with fine rope (typical for temde) and has certain accents in teak wood. The lamp provides a very atmospheric light and undoubtedly adds a scandinavian accent to your interior. The lamp is in very nice vintage condition and was fitted with new cabling. Dimensions are 55 cm (diameter). Height is adjustable. Temde-leuchten was founded in 1911 and was a german-swiss manufacturer of lighting fixtures. Wood was always the most important basic material and in the mid-1950s the company offered about 250 basic models. In 1986 temde-leuchten filed for bankruptcy. During its existence, the company won 31 if design awards.
