Magnificent antique service by Bernardaud, very fine white porcelain from Limoges, translucent in light, stamped B & C°, Bernardaud et Compagnie, vintage/antique production from the 1920s to 1950s. Elegant Art Deco shaped model. Multicoloured floral transfer decoration, with a blue rim, spring-like, warm, cheerful, and traditional. Hand washing recommended, occasional dishwasher use is acceptable on a gentle cycle at low temperature. The lot consists of 28 pieces: 1 large serving platter, dodecagonal: 34cm total length, 26cm width, 3.5cm height, slightly hollow. Very good used condition, the decoration shows some minor manufacturing defects and wear on the transfer and rim. No chips or cracks, a few very light and discreet utensil marks, minimal use. Beautiful quality vintage piece. Approximately 900g. 2 oval dishes: 22cm length, 14.5cm width, 2.3cm height. Very good condition, a few discreet transfer defects and some original stains/pyrite grains (?) discreet. Approximately 150g each. 13 octagonal flat plates: 24.7cm diameter, 2.5cm height. Good used condition, the decorations show some manufacturing defects and wear on the transfer and rim. Good condition, the plates show signs of use, small manufacturing defects, transfer defects, no cracks, 2 or 3 chips, more or less discreet cutlery marks. Approximately 250g each. 4 octagonal deep plates: 24.7cm diameter, 4cm height. Very good used condition, the decorations show some minor manufacturing defects and wear on the transfer and rim. Good condition, no chips or cracks, a few very light and discreet utensil marks. 2 of them have light and discreet crazing on the base, as well as a few manufacturing grains, very little use. Approximately 300-350g each. 7 octagonal dessert plates: 22cm diameter, 2.3cm height. Used condition, the decorations and rims show manufacturing defects and wear on the transfer, there are also defects in the glazing on surfaces with a discreet bubbled texture. A few utensil marks. Some have a patina, some show manufacturing grains. No cracks or chips. Some use. Approximately 180g each. 1 rounded sauce boat with integrated saucer: Approximately 8cm height, 17cm maximum width for the sauce boat, saucer approximately 19cm diameter. Very good used condition, the decoration shows some minor manufacturing defects and discreet micro-wear on the transfer. No chips or cracks, but there is a fine original firing crazing on one edge, not serious and slightly tinted. Approximately 350g.
