Storage basket

Lots of charm and elegance for this large antique wicker and scoubidou basket. Probably originally a picnic basket. The wicker strands are decorated in places with red, green and off-white plastic scoubidou weaving. Wicker closure lined with a metal latch. Double handles tightened by fasteners on either side. The handles are in off-white scoubidou. Good capacity. Can be used as a storage basket for sewing or crafts, for example. Good overall condition. Note a few broken wicker strands, the scoubidou weaving is worn and torn in places. Missing parts, particularly at one handle. Small deformation inside without consequence.
