6 chairs bistro 20s flowered seat

Suite of 6 chairs bistro horgen-glarus 1915-1925 ca, the oldest and most important swiss manufacture of curved wooden seats, founded at the end of the XIX by emil baumann, also at the origin of the production of comtoise on the french side. Here a typical bistro model produced from the late nineteenth century, with small differences in each manufacturer (kohn, tuna, baumann, fischel, etc.), it remained in vogue in establishments until the early 30s. The version of horgen-glarus is close to that of fischel, with a link with arches, but the wood background with floral decoration in the art nouveau taste gives it an additional charm. -- lot in very good condition with its patina and small repairs of experience, always good for the service.
