Solid oak table 205 cm – handcrafted, unique piece

Magnificent large dining table made of solid oak, custom-made by a carpenter several decades ago. A unique piece, robust and warm, in the spirit of large monastery or farmhouse tables. The tabletop, particularly thick (7 cm), was made from oak deliberately chosen for its "lived-in wood" appearance: pronounced grain, knots, cracks, and natural irregularities have been preserved and highlighted. These marks, witnesses to the life of the wood, were intentionally desired during its creation. Another feature: the long beam connecting the legs was made from a whole trunk, with its natural shape preserved. It gives the table its very unique character and emphasises its traditional and artisanal furniture spirit. Characteristics: Solid oak. Custom artisanal manufacturing. Unique piece. Length: 205 cm. Width: 94 cm. Thickness of the tabletop: 7 cm. Height: 78 cm. Capacity: 8 to 10 people. Solid base with a beam made from a tree trunk. Very good condition, beautiful natural patina of the wood. A table full of character, ideal for a large dining room, a family kitchen, a country house, or in a contemporary interior seeking an authentic and original piece. To be viewed on-site. Please ensure a suitable vehicle for transport. The table is fully assembled traditionally with wooden dowels. It could theoretically be disassembled, but given its design and age, I strongly recommend transporting it assembled to preserve the joints. Caution: extremely heavy and solid table. Ensure robust handling by several people and a suitable vehicle.
