Handmade amisch rug in recycled cotton

Antique carpet from the amisch community, bought in new york in a flea market. Handmade of recycled cotton. Strips of fabric are cut from worn parts, braided (see details on photos), and then assembled into a "spiral". Nice assembly of colors. Unique piece. Some traces of wear on an edge (see photo). Oval shape length: 158cm, width: 108 cm, thickness: 0.5cm. The dimensions indicated below correspond to the package.
