Grey Reupholstered rosewood armchairs by Erling Torvits for Soro Stolefabrik, 1960s

Dining chair by erling torvits. A set of two armchairs made by erling torvits for soro stolefabrik in beautiful rosewood. All chairs are marked with the soro stolefabrik stamp on the underside of the seat. We have had these beautiful chairs professionally reupholstered. The interior of these chairs has also been completely renewed, with elastic webbing, 2 cm thick polyether and covered with 100 grams dacron. Kvadrat: raas. The chosen fabric is raas van kvadrat color 0142. The fabric is made of 92% wool and 8% nylon. Martindale is 100, 000. Raas from kvadrat is a luxurious design furniture fabric with the properties of bouclé and the appearance of an airy linen fabric. For the colors of the raas, the designers doshi & levien found their inspiration in china. Where their attention was drawn to the colourful, glazed chinese pottery and the use of color in the historical miniature painting from india. The fabric meets all strict quality requirements and is therefore very suitable for the design of projects in any style of interior, from modern and trendy to classic and formal. These two reupholstered vintage design armchairs are in an excellent vintage condition.
