Stair ball

Pretty “stair ball” (or andiron perhaps?) in golden metal with a perfect patina, bronze perhaps, but more probably brass because we can see slight bluish traces on the edges of the foot), but it is rather heavy, the metal must be thick. It has various stains and marks and a dent. The screw pitch must be within 5 mm, difficult to measure precisely. It measures 7 cm in height, 5.5 cm in diameter and weighs approximately 120 g.
