Suite of 4 BAUMANN sled model chairs

Suite of 4 sleigh model chairs between 1950-1960 The so-called “sled” model by Swiss designer Émile BAUMANN. Its world-famous factory (1901-2003) like Michael THONET. Built in exotic wood, notably mahogany, the seats with very rare canework since we usually use a fabric finish. A set in its used condition, overall a very nice product. Émile BAUMANN's factory reached its peak in 1970 with nearly 700 employees before closing in 2003 with around thirty employees. The peak of collaborators for this brand is in the years 2015. The models exchange heavily.
