Custom-made dining table by a carpenter, made of solid elm with natural edges. A unique piece, both warm and contemporary. The tabletop, 6 cm thick, showcases spectacular grain with numerous elm burls, the most sought-after part of this wood. The natural edges retain the original shape of the tree, with a slight bevel on the underside that lightens the silhouette. It is protected by a clear varnish that preserves the natural color of the wood. The table rests on a central mikado base in matte black steel, very stable, which frees up leg space. Expandable with two 50 cm extensions, on metal slides with retractable support legs: it accommodates 6 to 12 guests. Purchased for €4, 200, invoice provided. Very good condition.
