Description
Roundshaped lovely blue glazed ceramic vase with fishshell patterns by bror börsum, sweden 1960s. Onionshaped with varoius blue colors. Perfect with a.single flower in it or just as a decorative piece. Measures: 17 cm h, 15.5 cmd. Signed underneath: börsum, mariefred. Bm. Good vintage condition. Bror börsum was a ceramicist born in oslo on september 22, 1925. He left norway on april 9, 1940, I.e. The same day that germany invaded the country and went to sweden and stockholm where in the 1960s he ran a ceramics studio. The production was decorative ceramics in sintered earthenware. Bror börsum died in mariefred on july 3, 1997. His items were signed "b.m." or "börsum mariefred".
