Elegant porcelain teapot, decorated with a delicate design of pink roses and green foliage, typical of the romantic productions of the second half of the 20th century. The generous shape of the body contrasts nicely with the beautifully modeled lid, topped with a rosebud-shaped knob highlighted in gilding. Note the detail of the inclined rosebud. Beautifully worked handle. Quite heavy. Not stamped but quality work, probably German or French (Bavaria or Limoges style, 60s-70s). In very good overall condition, what looks like a slight chip on the edge of the lid is actually a brown paint line similar to the other brown lines in the roses, tiny wear to the gilding on the knob, without chips or cracks. Glossy porcelain. Height with lid: 18 cm. Total length (spout to handle): 26 cm. Diameter at widest: 17 cm. A deliciously old-fashioned charm for lovers of floral tableware or English afternoon tea. Perfect for complementing a shabby chic service or adding a floral touch to a brunch table.
