Large Carved Mirror Neo-Regency Style

Date: ca late 19th – early 20th century this rectangular ornamental mirror is topped by a floral crest. The interior and exterior edges are shaped by volutes and consoles. It also features acanthus leaves, flowers and crosspieces. The back is signed 'van roessel'. The mirrored glass is beveled, which is always a sign of premium quality. The glass has small black oxidation spots. Condition: good. The mirror glass has small spots of oxidation. Dimensions: 79 cm high, 52 cm wide, 2 cm deep, 6.2 kg.
