Very nice pair of armchairs with armrests by willem ritz for wilkhahn, modernist, mid century. German design, directly inspired by the bauhaus spirit. Very comfortable thanks to their padded seat and back covered with two-coloured green kvadrat fabric (mixed wool and viscose fabric that offers great resistance - dry cleaning) Made of many layers of curved wood (birch wood). The frames of the feet and armrests are assembled in one piece, thus guaranteeing the stability and purity of the chair lines. Very beautiful design pieces! Status: the chairs are in their original state: They show traces of use on the armrests and feet - wear of the varnish - impacts (see photos) Snag under the seat for one.
