Norman sideboard / dresser – 19th century

For sale: an old Norman dresser / china cabinet made of wood, with a rustic and authentic character. Family furniture from Ardevon, in Manche, near Mont-Saint-Michel. It features beautiful traditional architecture of Norman furniture with: * an old upper section, with several rows of plate racks; * a cornice and a scalloped valance; * traditional construction posts and joints; * a back made of planks; * a lovely patina and signs of use corresponding to its age. The upper section is original. The lower section has been reconstructed, which is visible in the photographs. Nevertheless, the piece retains all its character and will be perfect for an old house, country home, kitchen, or dining room, to showcase crockery, earthenware, or decorative objects.
