Art Deco Odetta HB Quimper stoneware pitcher

Art Deco Odetta cider (or water!) pitcher. Quatrefoil-shaped body, very beautiful stylized geometric Art Deco, Africanist decoration. In ochre & green glazed stoneware (manganese oxide), matte marmoreal glaze. Signed by the HB (for the Maison de la Hubaudière) Odetta factory in Quimper. Shape number 206 & decoration number 1086 The Odetta brand (named after the Odet river, near which the sandstone earth used for this production was located) was produced by the HB factory between 1926 and 1936. A small chip to be deplored on the inner rim of the neck (see photos).
