Charming little earthenware pitcher from Malicorne, entirely hand-painted with a polychrome floral design inspired by Rouen. It embodies all the artisanal charm of the Maine-et-Loire region: reddish-brown outlines, stylized flowers, touches of deep blue, and naive silhouettes that make each piece unique. The soft, rounded shape, the slightly wavy neck, and the blue frieze emphasize the delicate character of this typically Malicorne piece. The base, left unglazed as is often the case with these pieces, bears the handwritten signature of the decorator.
