Decorative ceramic plate decoration "The wolf and the lamb"

This vintage exhibition plate, stamped by its gallery on the back, illustrates jean de la fontaine's famous fable "the wolf and the lamb". The graphics are charming, nice details of the central painting and the floral frieze. The colors are both soft and cheerful, the dense ceramic is almost bluish.
